PFO again sponsored its biennial national conference on apologetics, worldviews, evangelism, biblical spirituality, disciplines, and discipleship with nationally known experts who conducted multiple plenary sessions and workshops.

Plenary and Workshop Session Leaders:
• Dr. Ed Bulkley —
Senior Pastor of LIFE Fellowship near Denver since its founding in 1979 and author of three books, Why Christians Can’t Trust Psychology, How Big Is Your God?, and Only God Can Heal the Wounded Heart. Dr. Bulkley oversees an extensive counseling ministry and hosted a daily radio program called Return to the Word for over fifteen years. He is also the President of the International Association of Biblical Counselors, a training, resource, and certifying organization for pastors and laity who are committed to the Scriptures.
• Rev. G. Richard Fisher —
Director for Personal Freedom Outreach and the senior researcher/writer for The Quarterly Journal. Pastor Fisher served as pastor of Laurelton Park Baptist Church in Bricktown, N.J., for over 40 years, from 1968 until his retirement in June 2009. He also was part of the teaching staff at Central Jersey Bible Institute for over three decades, where he had served as Dean of the school. He has led over 30 tours of the Holy Land and has co-authored The Confusing World of Benny Hinn.
• Mr. Gordon Franz —
Bible instructor at New York School of the Bible in New York City, lecturer at Evangelical (Chinese) Mission and Seminary International in New Jersey, adjunct professor for the Talbot School of Theology’s “Bible Lands” programs at Biola University (La Mirada, Calif.), and former instructor at the Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem. Mr. Franz has conducted numerous field trips throughout Israel and Jordan, and has worked on archaeological excavations in Israel, including Jerusalem, Jezreel, Hazor, and Lachish.
• Dr. Gary E. Gilley —
Pastor of Southern View Chapel in Springfield, Ill. Dr. Gilley is also a director for Personal Freedom Outreach and a researcher and writer for The Quarterly Journal. He received his B.A. from Moody Bible Institute and his M.B.S. and Th.D. from Cambridge Graduate School. He is a frequent speaker at Bible conferences and the author of five books including Is That You Lord? and This Little Church Went to Market. He is also a board member of Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission and New Tribes Missions.
• Mr. T.A. McMahon —
President and executive director of The Berean Call ministry, editor-in-chief and contributing writer for The Berean Call newsletter, co-author of best-selling Christian classic The Seduction of Christianity, The New Spirituality, and author of Showtime for the Sheep? Mr. McMahon has been the executive producer and co-host of two weekly radio programs, Search the Scriptures Daily (with Dave Hunt) and According to God’s Word. He is co-founder and an executive committee member of Reaching Catholics for Christ.
• Dr. Ron Rhodes —
President of Reasoning from the Scriptures Ministries. Dr. Rhodes is the Adjunct Professor of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary (Dallas, Texas), Veritas Evangelical Seminary (Murrieta, Calif.), and Biola University (La Mirada, Calif.). With over 1.5 million books in print, he is the author of the popular “Reasoning from the Scriptures” series and over fifty other apologetic works including The Complete Guide to Bible Translations, The Complete Guide to Christian Denominations, and 5-Minute Apologetics for Today.
Alongside the seven plenary sessions, four 75-minute workshop sessions were presented at the 2012 Conference.

Additional Workshop Session Leaders:
• Rev. Keith Gibson is the founding pastor of Word of Life Community Church in Belton, Mo., and has been the Kansas City Director of Apologetics Resource Center for the last eight years. He has also authored numerous articles and is a charter member of the International Society of Christian Apologetics. Rev. Gibson is the author of the recently published book, Wandering Stars: Contending for the Faith with the New Apostles and Prophets.
• Dr. Robert Peterson is the Professor of Systematic Theology at Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis and the pastor of Country Bible Church in Bunker Hill, Ill. He is the author of numerous works including, Salvation Accomplished by the Son: The Work of Christ, Hell on Trial: The Case for Eternal Punishment and Our Secure Salvation: Preservation and Apostasy, and is the co-author of What Is Hell? He has also edited Presbyterion, the journal of Covenant Theological Seminary, from the spring of 1997 until the present.
